The risk scoring framework

A shared language for financial risk bands—built so finance, internal audit, and the board can read the same profile without translation.

Four layers every score must pass

We refuse to publish a band that cannot be restated from named inputs, dated extracts, and written weights.

Name the risk categories

Liquidity pressure, concentration, control weakness, and reporting lag are defined for your entities before any calculation starts. Categories left out are listed as intentional exclusions.

Weight the inputs in writing

Each factor carries a documented weight and observation window. Changes to weights are versioned so prior periods remain comparable.

Attach the evidence trail

Every amber or red band links to source records—ledger extracts, ageing reports, control findings—so challenge does not start from a blank page.

Publish bands with caveats

Score cards state refresh dates, known data gaps, and the next review cadence. Silence about missing subsidiaries is never implied coverage.

What we need from you

  • A named owner for data access and scheduling
  • Read access to ledgers, ageing, and control logs in scope
  • A shortlist of entities and counterparties that matter
  • Any existing risk matrices you want preserved or retired

What we do not do

  • Sell or install a permanent scoring product as part of the engagement
  • Guarantee audit opinions or regulatory outcomes
  • Process payments on this website—work is scoped and invoiced separately
